SendSafe allows you to send large files securely without the risk of the provider misusing the data. Your data remains protected and under your control.
Can I specify how often the file can be downloaded?
Yes, you can set a download limit. Once this limit is reached, the file will be automatically deleted.
Can I set a password?
Yes, you can protect your file transfer with a password.
How long does the data remain online?
Once the expiration date or download limit is reached, we automatically delete the files from our servers.
Can firmio view my files?
No, your files are encrypted and cannot be viewed by firmio employees.
Is SendSafe similar to WeTransfer?
Yes, exactly. However, while this is WeTransfer's sole business purpose and there has already been confusion about data sovereignty there, SendSafe is an add-on module at firmio and we have no interest in your data whatsoever. That's why we encrypt everything and consistently delete all data after expiration.
